Tomorrow morning we will be jumping on an early flight to Memphis courtesy of Brizo! And while our shoes may not be blue suede, we have packed a couple of fun pairs for the events to come. The trip is exciting for so many different reasons—here are just few to start:
– The three day stint will allow us to reconnect with our Brizo Blogger19 pals from my New York Jason Wu Fashion Week trip in 2011. We will start by reconvening at Rendezvous over some authentic BBQ delights our first night!
– Our time in Memphis will also allow us to meet people we have collaborated with online, over social media and on the telephone in person. Face-to-face is always more fun! We have a total of 80 attendees who span over a few years of New York Fashion Week alum, so we have my work cut out for us. {Tweet, tweet!}
– Part of our trip will involve visiting St.Jude’s Research Hospital where we get to work on a patient project on the hospital site, followed by a visit to Target House. See below how Brizo has partnered with St.Jude’s over the years to do great philanthropic work.
– Lastly we will visit Brizo’s factory where all the magic happens! Not only will we see new product, we will get the behinds the scenes stories, which you know the KKDL team loves.
