As you may have seen in the December issue of Inside East Sac, we are thrilled to once again be a part of Sacred Heart’s Holiday Home Tour! Take a sneak peek with us as we go behind the scenes in our home on 42nd Street with Good Day Sacramento… we’ll be sure to post the link on Facebook and Twitter too!
The Kilmer home is beautifully neutral to start. The team at Kerrie Kelly Design Lab simply wanted to enhance the understated aesthetic by providing a sophisticated, thoughtful holiday motif. Reclaimed wood, sisal rugs, poufs covered in hide leathers and aged metal light fixtures provide a mix of finishes and textures to bring a timeless look to the home. Personalized burlap stockings, craft paper gifts and hand done large format artwork provides approachable, creative ways for homeowners to craft the seasonal look in their own spaces as well. Additionally, we look forward to sharing three new do-it-yourself {DIY} projects that tour-goers can try with the help of friends and family.
We are happy to have partnered with Twiggs and the Vaught Family to make some one of a kind artwork and furniture pieces. We always love the matting and framing by Dee at Archival Framing too. Thanks to Diana Burke from Simple Pleasures Catering as she outfitted the kitchen with all sorts of goodies from Mom Likes Me Best. And cheers to Matt Lemos Landscape for the front and backyard plantings–it carried the holiday beauty both inside and out! Looking forward to seeing you on the Tour this year!
