If you follow the KKDL social media feed, you know it’s true. Visiting Frankfurt’s Ambiente Faire with our Modenus host requires walking the length of a marathon. Over four days, designer Jill and I walked 26+ miles or 60 football fields to visit 4800 vendors along with 140,000 other gifting attendees.
With America as Ambiente’s partner country this year, the largest consumer goods show in the world welcomed design professionals and bloggers to expose all that is gifting tabletop and cooking to the North American market.
So on our four-day search, this is what we found.
Who knew Pantone carried a line of pots and pans? Each with its colorfully numbered Pantone handle, you can be chic in the kitchen too.
Visiting our friends at Hey Sign, we discovered that felt is trending in a big way via lighting and accessories.
Shades of blush paired with copper appeared throughout the show and were an unexpected combination that we were really drawn to.

ELO pots and pans not only allowed us to view the product line, we actually cooked with their master chef making the perfect pesto.
