One of our favorite reasons to be on the road is what we’ll find when we park our car. This time, we made our way down the coast of California to Dwell on Design 2016 in the heart of Los Angeles. With beautiful weather and even more beautiful designs, we were ready to trend spot and feast our eyes on the latest and greatest in the interior design world.
After our presentation with ASID on the art of Livable Design, we made our way through the twists and turns of the modern marketplace, keeping our eyes peeled for new and innovative products to bring back home to our design team. Some of our favorites included:
Brizo’s Litze Collection
Who isn’t inspired by a beautiful piece of plumbing? Brizo struck again at Dwell on Design, this time with it’s sophisticated Litze faucet perched inside a gorgeously curated vignette. 10/10 designers would say this was a favorite stop on the Dwell trail.
Concrete Collaborative
Most likely the reason behind the #IHaveThisThingWithFloors hashtag, Concrete Collaborative is not only selfie-worthy but incredibly beautiful. Embodying a unique depth of color with natural characteristics and a one-of-a-kind sheen, we may have stopped here a little too long to admire the craft of this particular slab of concrete.
Fireclay Tile
Located in nearby San Francisco, Fireclay Tile is one of our favorite reasons to make the trek to Dwell on Design. Upcycled, recycled, and made new again, Fireclay’s innovative product is a favorite of homeowners, architects, and designers.
Sunbrella
Not only did Sunbrella turn up the volume on presentation this year, but we found at least 15 new colors we’ll be specifying for client projects just this year! Excellent for outdoor spaces, Sunbrella is as fashionable as it is durable.
Vanessa DeLeon’s Vignette for True Residential
When friends and design teams pair up, it’s always a good time. We had to stop by our fellow Trendspotter Vanessa DeLeon’s vignette for design inspiration and to peer at True Residential’s latest and greatest in their line of refrigeration.
Brown Jordan Outdoor Kitchens Booth
Last but certainly not least, we made our way to Brown Jordan Outdoor Kitchens’ beautiful booth for a glass of bubbles to toast our productive day. Curated with Coyote Outdoor Living’s grill, Cosentino surfaces, Kelly O’Neal artwork, and New Growth greenery, we were in total outdoor living heaven.
Did you go to Dwell on Design this year? Which booths and vignettes were among your favorites?
