As if we needed an excuse to make our way to one of our favorite spots in the world, Napa Valley, my lovely date and I headed to Napa, California to spend some time with Ingrid Michaelson at the Robert Mondavi Winery. With perfect weather above us and friends and food surrounding us, our weekend went off without a hitch. Feasting on prettily created plates like heirloom tomato salad with a perfectly prepared burrata and grilled pork tenderloin that had us begging for more, we dined and mingled with fellow music and wine lovers, listening to the blissful melodies of Ingrid Michaelson’s greatest hits.
In between each course we snacked and nibbled on wine and cheese pairings like succulent cow’s milk cheese from Paso Robles and earthy unoaked Chardonnay from the Mondavi vineyard directly behind us. With each tasty bite and thoughtful pour we were whisked away to different parts of our California home— from the shady vineyards of Northern California to the bright beaches of Los Angeles.
Seated beside some of our favorite friends and family, we soaked up the sun while sipping and sharing plates with Ingrid Michaelson singing in the background. A perfect Saturday in Napa Valley indeed!
