Will all of the hype surrounding Pantone’s #COTY selection, Greenery, we only saw it fitting to spotlight one of our favorite and most colorful design projects– the Living Green Villa. Using tones of tropical green and shimmering gold, we created a clean, transitional space perfect for entertaining, parties, and quiet nights at home.
Relaxed, resort-like living comes to mind when absorbing the design of this space. We envision a homeowner who can easily experience the local fare and farmer’s market but easily lock-and-leave home to be on the go. We are incorporating fresh green tones and organic elements to allow for a cool, calm and collected aesthetic. Inspired by Sacramento’s Farm to Fork initiatives, yet wanting to create a refined space, we landed on shades of emerald and gold.
Some feel the open floor plan may be challenging to design, however we fully embraced it. Mirrors, drapery panels and statement artwork were some of our favorite features to bring the look together. The patio is our favorite feature of the home. It allows the indoor square footage to spill outdoors while still being private. A thoughtful shade screen that protects homeowner from vibrant rays also tells the historic story of The Mill property.
