Design 101: Beautiful Small Bedrooms

Designing a beautiful small bedroom requires thoughtful consideration of several key elements.

We recommend keeping your small bedroom design simple, ensuring a serene and uncluttered space, allowing for a calming atmosphere.

This masculine space inspired us to incorporate shades of gray and plenty of contrast through plaid bedding pieces and abstract artwork.

Incorporate a neutral palette, creating a soothing ambiance and providing a versatile backdrop for various décor elements.

This little girl’s room will evolve over time so the burlap colored headboard and white nightstands are the perfect anchors for this small bedroom space.

Emphasize symmetry, bringing a sense of balance and order to the room’s layout while promoting a harmonious environment.

Identical lamps and vertical stripes unify this space and create a beautiful balance to the small bedroom design.

Consider a monochromatic scheme, adding elegance and cohesion, creating a sophisticated look with subtle variations in shades and textures.

The ombre paint scheme on the walls allow for bedding in the same color range to unify this small bedroom’s aesthetic, creating more visual spaciousness.

Incorporate personalization through cherished items and thoughtful décor, infusing the room with warmth and individuality, making it a truly personal sanctuary.

Initials as wall décor create the ideal focal point over each twin bed and a shared nightstand provides needed storage and a personalize feel for this bedroom space.

Incorporate a daybed as it not only offers a practical solution for limited space but also serves as a stylish and inviting focal point, providing a cozy spot for relaxation and rest.

Just because the room is small, doesn’t mean you have to forfeit style—trim work details provide the ideal backdrop for this darling daybed and contrasting artwork.

Love what you see? There's more where that came from.
