Spicy Shrimp Pasta Recipe

There’s nothing like combining fresh, quality ingredients with a touch of spice for a memorable dining experience. This Spicy Shrimp Pasta is a delightful dish that brings together the richness of shrimp, the freshness of cherry tomatoes, and the zest of lemon, all with a kick of red pepper flakes.

The Details

Yield: 4 servings
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
Category: Main Course

The Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cobram Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup white wine (optional)
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta:
    • Bring a large Hestan NanoBond Stockpot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare Shrimp:
    • In a large Hestan NanoBond Skillet, heat Cobram Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Cook Shrimp:
    • Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Sauce Preparation:
    • In the same large Hestan NanoBond Skillet, add cherry tomatoes. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
    • If using, pour in white wine, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.
    • Add lemon zest and juice, stirring well to combine.
  5. Combine:
    • Return cooked shrimp to the skillet and add the drained pasta. Toss everything together to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  6. Serve:
    • Divide the pasta among plates, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
