The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (@KBIS_official) is the world’s largest international trade event where @theNKBA hosts over 500 exhibitors to showcase the latest kitchen and bath products, trends and technologies. So how do you make the most of everything KBIS has to offer in just three days? Pack the right stuff! 👟 Walking x dancing shoes. Many industry professionals head straight from breakfast to the show floor to dinner and events, so dress the part and wear shoes that will last as long as you do!
🤝 Business cards. KBIS is a great opportunity build new connections with like-minded folks. It’s also a chance to connect face-to-face with those in other markets who you’ve connected with over social media, so have your contact information at the ready to share.
🎟️ Credentials and tickets. Most will have show badges and event tickets mailed to them in advance. Be sure to pack those for easy access to the Show, Awards Party, Opening Ceremony and BASH celebration.
📱 The KBIS Mobile App. The app provides a centralized location for fast access to the trade show map, special events and learning opportunities—it even has an Agenda tab that allows you to input your events over the course of the show.
🍫 Energy snack. While walking the Show floor, food can often be tough to track down, so be sure to pack a healthy snack that will give you a boost between booth visits!

In Chinese culture, the New Year’s Eve or Day meal is considered the most important meal of the year, so set the table in elegance with table linens to represent quality and wealth. And in a bit of red via dinnerware or dishes to infuse a bit of extra luck. ⁠

Choose foods that represent prosperity, too—pot stickers look like ingots, spring rolls look like gold bars and citrus fruits are honored in Chinese homes. For your main dish, certain foods like a whole fish, chicken or duck signify wholeness, family and coming together. ⁠
