Casual California Ranch

A husband-wife team sought to remodel the wife’s childhood ranch-style home in California, blending the historical charm of the home with more modern updates. The design process, conducted virtually, resulted in an open, transitional farmhouse featuring blue and brass accents. The remodel included a spacious kitchen, repositioned living room, and an updated bar area.

This space now balances the original brick fireplace with new furniture arrangements, creating a bright and inviting space perfect for family gatherings and entertaining. Despite supply chain challenges, the project was completed successfully, providing the family with a home that honors its history with modern comfort and functionality.
