This holiday season, we are celebrating time-honored luxury and classic, refined décor on the Sacred Heart Home Tour in a classic 1920s cottage on 41st Street. In approachable fashion, the Kerrie Kelly Design Lab team has put a youthful twist on equestrian style in this recently renovated light and bright East Sacramento home.
From the tranquil Blue Stone front patio, hues of saddle, deep burgundy and wine draw tour-goers into the space, inviting them to stay for a while. Plank wood floors, walls dressed in white and a reclaimed barn door, that separates the living room from the guest quarters, come together to create a soothing sanctuary this winter and beyond .
Our design team wove signature details such as thoroughbred colors and hints of menswear to add contemporary interest into the fabric of this home. Riding boots, trophies and vintage books not only tell the story of the family who resides here, but provide presence, drama and sophistication for the holidays.
Holding to East Sacramento tradition, our team features local artists and businesses in the space; including equestrian elements from the VanVleck Ranch, statement artwork by local artist Tim Collom, and framing by Archival Gallery. The floral design from Relles Florist throughout the home pleases the eye, and in the impeccably remodeled chef’s kitchen, treats from Chic Sweets tempt your tummy.
The beckoning lull of water from rear patio and outdoor living space warmly invite you from the kitchen-great room of the home to view the lovely exterior design courtesy of Lemos Landscape.
We look forward to seeing you on the tour December 5-7th.
