As the team at Kerrie Kelly Design Lab travels the interior design universe, we have been asked by Fox40 what tools we use to keep it all straight. Here are a few we shared with the Fox crew this morning.
CheapOair is one of the top five online travel agencies. Both CheapOair’s website and mobile app provides customers who are traveling on a budget with the best prices for flights, hotel reservations, car rentals and vacation packages. CheapOair’s portfolio of products includes millions of airfares on over 450 global airlines, 100,000 negotiated hotels and vacation packages, and car rentals. CheapOair’s call centers around the world allow customers to speak to an actual person to clarify any questions and book their trips not just on the internet and via mobile app, but via telephone as well, for a more comforting experience.
PackPoint is a free travel packing list organizer and packing planner for serious travel pros. PackPoint will help you organize what you need to pack in your luggage and suitcase based on length of travel, weather at your destination, and any activities planned during your trip. Once your packing list is built and organized, PackPoint will save it for you, and then you can choose to share it with your friends and family in case they need help packing too.
For those who are planning a road trip this summer, Waze is a user-generated traffic information app to save you time and frustration while on the open road. The social GPS app gets drivers together to provide live traffic updates on jams, police traps, accidents and other hazards. It also saves cost by comparing the oil prices of the gas stations along your routes or around you. Waze has partnered with a few gas stations to provide discounts through digital coupons on the app.
This app focuses on local experiences in destinations recommended by people living in that city, similar to a digital guidebook, but with a personal touch. Each writer has a profile and a photo, explaining who they are and what kind of interests they have. The lists featured on the website are fun in nature, like “Easy Ways to Entertain Kids in NYC,” and cover everything from what to eat, shop, do, see, etc.
