On May 3rd, Sacramento came together to continue a tradition, established years ago, that is now woven into our identity. For one 24-hour stretch, we give to the hundreds of nonprofits that strengthen the Sacramento region every day.
“Big Day of Giving” is the culmination of an entire year’s worth of community-building and collaboration. It’s made possible by the generosity of our region’s donors and our many community partners, who have supported this movement from the beginning.
Since my husband sits on the board of the American Red Cross, this meant getting his co-board members, friends, and family together at our home for a little wine tasting and giving back.
