When I was asked to attend the American Society of Interior Designers’ (ASID) Platform event, I was told to get ready for the experience of a lifetime. And how true that statement was!
Platform, held at Deer Valley’s Montage, sparked my curiosity, challenged my business perspective, and provided me with the opportunity to break away from my daily routine. Building on the success of the inaugural event in 2017 and specifically designed for the principals, partners, and owners of design firms, Platform brought together the best of the best, the true visionaries of the design community, for a summit that provided an arena for relationship building, interaction, and idea sharing that moves the entire industry forward as a united community.
I was honored to see old friends, make new ones and take in the breath-taking scenery, creating a stress-free environment to experience the majestic beauty of Park City, Utah, one of the premier playgrounds of the Rocky Mountains. Isn’t it gorgeous?
Platform was a catalyst for innovation and collaboration and explored leadership through the viewpoints of influentials in publishing, business, technology, entrepreneurship, public affairs, and more. We all gained fresh, new perspectives in interactive ways and engaged in conversations that will propel the design industry into the future.
