Located at Hudson Yards, TAK Room is a new restaurant from Chef Thomas Keller, serving Continental cuisine in an atmosphere of throwback style and glamour. A place where the Keller team pays tribute to the restaurants of a bygone era while taking a more contemporary approach. A restaurant designed for the ages.
About TAK Room
Using the finest ingredients and techniques, the kitchen reimagines the food of that era, while the dining room treats guests to the elegant touches of gueridon service, tableside preparations, Champagne carts, live music, and views of the Hudson River and the Vessel. The style of food and unique approachability reminds us of Chef Keller’s Surf Club in Miami.
We enjoyed a surprise round of Blanc de Blanc with fresh vegetables, house-made breadsticks, and dill aioli. Next up was Caesar salad (made tableside, by the way), mashed potatoes, fresh peas, and roasted chicken.
A Sweet Surprise
The restaurant’s signature caramel corn topped off the evening with a generous slice of chocolate cake to celebrate Vinny’s birthday!
