What a pleasure it was to host the KBIS (The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show) Virtual 2021 First Look Media Preview for the latest product innovations for the kitchen and bath industry. Here are my quick top-five products of what was released for the new year.

Cosentino’s Silestone Loft Series

Rooted in the industrial, the Silestone Loft Series captures the essence of neighborhoods celebrated for their raw, purely urban beauty: Camden, Poblenou, Seaport, Nolita and Corktown. Among the notable  new features of the Silestone Loft Series: the debut of the innovative and exclusive HybriQ+ technology—a new production process and major leap in the evolution of the Silestone brand that combines reused raw materials, along with 98 percent recycled water and 100 percent renewable energy.

The Maxx Drawer by Rev-A-Shelf

Drawers overflowing and desperately need organization? Then look no further than the Maxx Drawer System. This one-of-a-kind drawer system, developed in collaboration with Cabinetworks Group,  maximizes the available space within the drawer. The two upper sections pull up and away, for easy access to the items stored beneath (think tackle box). Adjustable dividers allow you to arrange your items any way you like.  The 4WTMD Maxx Drawer is designed for 24” base face frame cabinets and comes complete with 90lb. TANDEM slides with BLUMOTION soft-close and features natural maple construction. Just add a drawer front and take your drawer to the Maxx!

Belwith Keeler’s Corsa Collection

Belwith Keeler’s new hardware collections hit on all the latest trends. Introducing mixed materials, pulls with leather stitching, and a totemic stacked pull that salutes the mid-century mod fans. They also have the Corsa Collection which has a unique pill-shape seen so popular in today’s lighting and mirrors.  To put the icing on the cake, Belwith Keeler is also re-introducing the backplate with their Coventry Collection.  This will give traditional cabinets the luxe furniture feel that is gaining popularity in kitchen and baths.

DreamLine’ s Avenue Sliding Glass Shower

DreamLine introduced the Avenue sliding glass shower door–a groundbreaking new design featuring visionary stepped glass panels and modular hardware in satin black and chrome. Inspired by dynamic skylines and urban architecture, the Avenue is the ultimate shower door designed for cosmopolitan living. The Avenue showcases a fully frameless design in a revolutionary application, with premium 3/8-inch- thick certified tempered glass and a pronounced entryway framed on either side by glass panels. The bottom guide hardware is completely concealed inside the bottom door profile for a seamless look, while the modular hardware was designed specifically to accommodate the variations in height. Additionally, the handle has been rigorously tested to address the ergonomic challenges presented by the stepped rectilinear forms and hard edges, resulting in a comfortable and easy-to-use design.
