"Design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about creating an experience.
At KBIS 2025, we brought brands to life through immersive, experiential spaces that engaged and inspired."
- Kerrie Kelly
KBIS 2025 was a masterclass in immersive design, and this year, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Fabuwood, JennAir, and Feeney to bring their brand visions to life through unforgettable booth experiences. Each space was carefully crafted to inspire, innovate, and engage—pushing beyond traditional trade show displays to create immersive environments that showcased the future of kitchen and bath design.
In this behind-the-scenes look, we’re breaking down the creative vision, product highlights, and key design moments from each booth. Whether you joined us in person or are catching up from afar, here’s an inside look at the design behind the booths that made waves at KBIS 2025.
Fabuwood: Elevating Cabinetry Beyond the Kitchen
At KBIS 2025, Fabuwood set out to redefine cabinetry by demonstrating its seamless integration into the world of interior design. In collaboration with Fabuwood, we created a series of thoughtfully curated spaces—each telling a unique design story. From high-performance kitchens to multifunctional areas, the booth was an immersive experience, proving that cabinetry is more than just storage—it’s a foundation for inspired living.
The Entertainer’s Kitchen – A Centerpiece for Social Living
There’s no second chance at a first impression, so we knew the Entertainer’s Kitchen needed to stop people in their tracks. Positioned at the front of the booth, this space was intentionally designed to set the tone—showcasing how semi-custom cabinetry can stand alongside fully custom, high-end options. Knowing it would be one of the most photographed areas, we played with bold contrasts, rich textures, and sleek finishes that would capture attention while reinforcing the idea that beauty and functionality are not mutually exclusive.
The result? A showpiece that drew people in, sparked conversation, and invited them to imagine what’s possible in their own kitchens.

The Party Barn – Blurring Indoor & Outdoor Spaces
Let’s be honest—there was no missing the vintage Gateway Bronco Brittney Blue Bronco parked in the middle of this vignette. While it was undeniably a wow moment, it was also a strategic one. We knew that beyond high-end luxury, KBIS attendees included builders, homeowners, and designers looking for spaces that felt real, livable, and durable. By blending rustic charm with modern materials, we created a space that felt attainable yet aspirational.
This vignette proved that even unexpected spaces—like a reimagined barn—can be elevated with thoughtful cabinetry design, transforming them into hard-working, stylish extensions of the home.

The Mudroom & Bath Hallway – Functional Design Meets Luxury
As major brands declared their the colors of the year, we were drawn to the power of color drenching—a design approach that creates a fully immersive experience. That’s why we tapped Fabuwood Design Ambassador Julee Ireland to bring this concept to life. We knew that in smaller spaces, like mudrooms and bath hallways, cabinetry needs to work harder—offering both storage and style.
Julee’s use of monochromatic, layered hues set the stage for a space that felt intimate, elegant, and ahead of the trend. With built-in storage, integrated coat hooks, and even a dog wash, this vignette showcased how thoughtful cabinetry design can enhance everyday living.

Designer Home Office: Making it Personal
The modern home office isn’t just a workspace—it’s an extension of personal style and functionality. Inspired by Kerrie’s ability to create spaces that push boundaries while remaining timeless, we approached this design with the future in mind.
Hybrid work is here to stay, and we wanted to show how a home office can be both highly functional and beautifully designed. From rich walnut interiors that add warmth to a striking custom blue finish that sparks creativity, every detail in this space was intentional.
The result? A work environment that feels as inspiring as it is efficient.

The Designer Showroom – A Hands-On Hub for Inspiration
At KBIS, designers and dealers don’t just want to see cabinetry—they want to experience it. So instead of a static display, we designed a space that encouraged hands-on interaction, allowing visitors to mix and match materials, test out finishes, and visualize real-world applications.
We leaned into the idea of personalization, giving attendees the tools to reimagine Fabuwood in their own showrooms and projects. With curated sample pairings, interactive mood boards, and flexible configurations, this showroom became a dynamic space where creativity and practicality collided.

FEENEY: A Bold New Vision for Railing Systems
Feeney’s IBS/KBIS presence was a total departure from previous years, embracing bold colors, architectural artistry, and innovative materials to make a statement that railing systems can be just as visually compelling as any other design element.
This year, I had the privilege of unveiling my LaserCut Collection with Feeney—a bold new chapter in railing design where modern artistry meets architectural function. Inspired by organic textures, geometric elegance, and the interplay of light and shadow, each pattern transforms railing into a true design feature rather than just a necessity.
Visitors were captivated by the dynamic, sculptural quality of these panels—seeing firsthand how they don’t just frame a space, they define it. With fully customizable designs that blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living, this collection empowers designers and homeowners alike to make a statement that’s as personal as it is striking.
Forget predictable black or neutral railings—Feeney’s Color Contrast Wall dared to think beyond the expected. A striking, color-blocked installation anchored the space, featuring blown-up imagery of our own mood boards, proving that railing can be just as artistic as the interiors they complement.
The experience didn’t stop there—a curated desk display also showcased four NEW distinct mood boards, each designed to encourage visitors to reimagine their spaces, seamlessly blending indoor elegance with outdoor durability. This interactive space was a testament to Feeney’s vision: railing as an integral part of the design conversation, where color, texture, and pattern take center stage.
Perched high above the IBS show floor, Feeney’s rooftop lounge was the ultimate design destination—where innovation met inspiration, and every detail told a story.
With a perfect vantage point showcasing Feeney’s signature CableRail and Kerrie’s brand-new LaserCuts™ panels, the space was an interactive experience, complete with coffee-fueled conversations and hands-on activations. Here, performance and aesthetics weren’t just displayed; they came to life, proving how Feeney’s versatile materials, cutting-edge designs, and effortless installation elevate any project with style and ease.
JennAir: Defying the Status Quo
From the moment you stepped into the JennAir Experience, you weren’t just visiting a booth—you were entering a world where luxury is intimate, immersive, and unapologetically bold.
Designed to break away from the conventional trade show display, this space pulled attendees into a sensory-driven experience, proving that innovation isn’t just about products—it’s about how they make you feel.
Induction Downdraft Floating Island

At the center of the JennAir space stood the 36” Downdraft Induction Cooktop, a groundbreaking innovation that captivated KBIS attendees. As Reviewed.com put it, this cooktop was “perhaps the most eye-catching innovation we have seen this week at KBIS.”
It’s not just a cooktop—it’s a testament to JennAir’s relentless pursuit of design and performance without compromise. What makes it so revolutionary?
Say goodbye to bulky overhead ventilation. The JennAir 36” Downdraft Induction Cooktop features a discreet, built-in downdraft system that eliminates the need for a traditional range hood. At the center of the cooktop, a circular ventilation port quietly and efficiently pulls away cooking vapors, smoke, and odors before they can rise—maintaining clean air while preserving an unobstructed sightline in open-concept kitchens.
Perfect for islands, lofts, and minimalist spaces, this innovation ensures form and function are never at odds—delivering high-powered ventilation without compromising design.
A revolution in performance-driven aesthetics, the 36” Downdraft Induction Cooktop is as striking as it is smart. Its smooth, uninterrupted surface blends effortlessly into contemporary kitchens, offering a streamlined, modern look with intuitive touch controls.
Designed with premium, edge-to-edge glass and subtle, sophisticated markings, this cooktop doesn’t just cook—it elevates the entire kitchen experience. Whether paired with stone countertops or sleek cabinetry, its minimalist silhouette ensures the technology speaks for itself.
Unlike traditional ventilation systems that can be loud and obtrusive (we all know the ones), JennAir’s downdraft technology operates with near-silent efficiency. The built-in filtration system whisks away steam and smoke without the disruptive noise often associated with high-powered fans.
This means you can carry on a conversation, enjoy background music, or entertain guests without distraction—all while your cooktop does the heavy lifting in air purification. Powerful, yet whisper-quiet, this system is designed to enhance your space without interrupting it.
The Defiant Lounge: Designed by Kerrie Kelly

More than a design moment, the Defiant Lounge was a tribute to collaboration, artistry, and Kerrie’s enduring partnership with JennAir. To have an entire space dedicated to her design vision was an honor—and she made sure every detail spoke to the essence of JennAir’s New Era of Luxury.
Anchored by a stunning bar, the lounge showcased an incredible mix of materials and partners, each element reinforcing the intimate, high-design energy of the space.
