While we weren’t able to make it to KBIS 2017 this year, we’ve spent enough time on our iPhones and laptops to feel as if we’re right in the middle of the enormous, sparkling showroom. We’ve been perusing Instagrams, style-stalking Facebook videos, and have decided on our favorite trends spotted by some of our favorite trendspotters. Keep scrolling for the #KKDL Top Ten in Bathroom and Kitchen design for 2017!
Are shower doors the new bathroom sinks? If Bobby Berk’s new collection for Coastal Shower Doors is an indicator, then the answer is YES. One of our favorite design pals, Carla Aston, stole a shot of Berk’s gold and matte black door featuring a striking graphic yet organic pattern. Filtered privacy just got pretty.
A style maven who is always on our radar is the fabulous Vanessa Deleon. Currently style-spotting at KBIS 2017, she unveiled her new design with True Residential. This matte black and rose gold masterpiece is one of the most sleek and glamorous kitchen spaces we’ve ever laid eyes on! We’re thinking rose gold is the new stainless steel (write that down).
Snapped by the style queen herself, Vanessa Francis, this row of striking faucets by Grohe has captured every KBIS goers’ attention. Each of the faucets have a sleeve of color that are interchangeable, making your kitchen the new ‘it’ place for color whenever and however you want it. Groher’s new color offerings are full of personality and are a welcome breath of fresh air from the traditionally modern faucets we’re used to seeing. Bravo!
If there’s one thing we can always get behind, it’s an interior design treasure that we didn’t know we needed. Enter Thompson Traders’ copper screen alongside its copper basins debuting at KBIS 2017. Hand-hewn and entirely beautiful, this screen’s silhouettes have us scrambling to find a place for her in our own home!
