You know the feeling when you meet a person and you instantly click and feel like you’ve been friends since, well, forever? That’s how we feel about the fabulous ladies at Lacefield. While we were recently in Atlanta, we had to carve out time to visit the powerhouse team at Lacefield Designs. Having been featured in such notable publications as Traditional Home and Coastal Living, these ladies couldn’t be more down to earth and excited to tell us all about their humble beginnings and many success stories.
Founded in 1996 by Beth Lacefield, a veteran in the worlds of fashion accessories and home decor, the company has become known for its sophisticated styling, globally inspired designs and fashion forward details. In addition to the variety of Lacefield branded products manufactured in-house, the company also maintains licensing partnerships with Art Classics and Gallery Designs Lighting.
While we were visiting, we were lucky enough to witness one of our favorite happenings in the design world: philanthropy in its purest form. My sister-in-law, Vera, was present during our trip to Lacefield and mentioned to Beth Lacefield her service projects at her church in Georgia. One discussion led to another, and tears and hugs were shared as the Lacefield team partnered with Vera on her mission to provide prayer blankets via their hand-painted pillow designs to her church free of charge. This was once a $5000 expense to the church that is now taken care of while helping those in need. The passion and kindness emitted from this meeting was tangible as all of our near and dear family and friends were able to experience the love we always see when working with the Lacefield ladies.
After a particularly productive and exciting meeting, we were only too excited to head back home to sunny California to start incorporating Lacefield pillow designs into every project we could find. Cheers to a talented team making their mark on the design industry!
