As a 2022 member of the Sherwin Williams Design Council, we are always thrilled to land the inside scoop on all things color, paint and trends. We love Sherwin-Williams Colormix season because our missions are aligned by annually collecting and curating the colors that help our clients bring their vision to life intuitively and confidently. There is so much more to color than meets the eye. It’s a part of our identity and has the power to change the very essence of everything it touches. Color can set a mood, create a conversation, soothe and ground us. Through color, we navigate our world, understand it more deeply, and lend it our own personal touch.
This year’s #SWColormix Terra by Sherwin-Williams is composed of 40 trend colors across four palettes, inspired by the natural interweaving of ourselves and our spaces. Our team is drawn specifically to the Origin palette. We embrace its free-spirited brights, magnetic deep tones, and the whisper of restful neutrals that create vibrancy and joy in the present moment. The palette allows us to recharge with color that continues to make its comeback.
The Biome palette embraces perfect balance with an ever-changing ecosystem. Mushroom taupe, lichen gray, rich earth tones and the color of our skies cloud studded canopy preserve peace in an atmosphere of delicate tones.
The Lore palette reconnects us with an intricate mix of ancient reds, powdery pastels and a bevy of bejeweled tones–and embraces the transformative power of passionate creativity.
The Nexus palette in kindles a sense of support and serenity with a potters palette of natural clays and sun baked desert sands, grounding browns and soft, soulful white.
