It feels like just yesterday that we were headed to New York to be part of one of our favorite home improvement shows, “George to the Rescue,” hosted by none other than George Oliphant! George is committed to creating beautiful and meaningful renovations for deserving families and it was an honor to help transform the Gonzalez family’s backyard into a beautiful outdoor space.
KKDL partner Coyote Outdoor Living provided a wonderful outdoor kitchen and dining environment, including an Asado ceramic cooker, Firetable powered by Blazing Beats as well as our very own Laguna Collection Lounge chairs and the Laguna Collection 7-Piece Dining Set. We also brought with us the C-Series 8 foot Coyote Outdoor Living RTA Island with a grill and refrigerator, perfect for family time and larger gatherings, too.
About the Gonzalez Family
Laura and Gustavo both work hard to provide a loving and safe home for their two sons, JoJo and Louis. JoJo is a vibrant 19-year-old with Down Syndrome, who loves playing basketball and playing outside. Louis, his caring, and patient older brother has a degree in architecture and is striving to become a builder one day. The Gonzalezes faced some challenges after they purchased their home last year, and while they did move in, they still needed some assistance getting the backyard into a safe and fun area for JoJo to enjoy.
Being able to work with the George to the Rescue team to help them complete a life-changing backyard transformation for the Gonzalez family was one of those moments that you’re grateful for and pinch yourself over. We are still so moved by the experience and happy that this deserving family has a lovely backyard to make new memories in.
