If you know me, you know that I love a good design story—especially one that starts in my home state of California—that explains the passion and innovation behind a company.
With that, I’m thrilled to share with you the remarkable journey of Feeney, Inc., a company that has been shaping the world of architectural and interior design products for an incredible 75-years.
A Humble Beginning...
Feeney, Inc. started its journey in 1948 when Art and Betty Feeney founded the company. They began by selling coated wire cable assemblies from their garage in San Francisco. This modest start laid the foundation for what would become a pioneering force in the railing and architectural products industry.
There’s no better reminder of how far you’ve come than a memento from the past. Pictured to the right is one of the original Feeney Signs that still hangs in their Corporate Headquarters today.
Innovation In Design
Throughout the decades, Feeney, Inc. became known for its commitment to innovation. They continually pushed the boundaries of what was possible, introducing products that not only met but exceeded industry standards. Their CableRail stainless steel cable infill system, for example, revolutionized deck and stair railing designs, offering a sleek and unobstructed view while maintaining safety.
